What NepTown is
NepTown is a locally focused information platform built around Lahan, Siraha, and nearby communities. It brings together practical information that is often scattered across social media, word of mouth, and different websites.
You can use NepTown to browse hotels, food spots, local news, events, jobs, rental properties, shopping, education, government offices, fitness options, community discussions, and other local services. Some sections are directories; others let people submit listings, ask questions, or contact a business directly.
Who it is for
NepTown is for residents, visitors, students, workers, business owners, and anyone who wants to find or share useful information about the Lahan area. You do not need an account to browse most public pages. An account is needed for features such as posting in the community, applying for a job, or managing certain submissions.
How NepTown works
- Directories: listings for hotels, food, shops, rentals, education, government offices, fitness, and things to do.
- Local updates: news, notices, events, and community posts submitted by users or prepared by NepTown.
- Opportunities: job listings, applications, marketplace listings, and rental inquiries.
- Community: discussions, questions, polls, replies, and reports about content that may break the rules.
Listings and community content may be submitted by users or businesses. We review content where our processes allow, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is current or accurate. Always confirm important information, such as prices, opening hours, vacancies, and contact details, with the business or organization directly.
Our standards
NepTown aims to be useful without being misleading. We publish editorial standards, community guidelines, and business listing guidelines so people know what to expect. Advertising and sponsored content should be distinguishable from editorial content. Anyone can report abusive or misleading content.
Independence and official information
NepTown is an independent local platform. It is not a government office and does not provide official government services. Pages that link to government offices or public notices are provided for convenience. For official decisions, deadlines, fees, or legal requirements, contact the relevant authority directly.
